the knowledge and experience I’ve gained during my tenure with the company. Working with different departments has helped me gain a greater understanding of how to serve our clients at the highest level possible.

the client contact I have and learning about our clients and the work they do. I feel like I am a part of their team and supporting them in what they accomplish.

In my role, I take pride in…
helping new nonprofits get their paperwork filed with state and federal agencies. It is very rewarding seeing these start up entities grow and support the communities they serve.

I like to spend my free time…
biking, hiking, and refinishing furniture.

helping so many people, whether they’re clients or my teammates!

In my role, I take pride in…
the process improvements I’ve had a hand in creating. Being able to look critically at our processes to make the workload of others easier is very satisfying.

I like to spend my free time…
biking and cooking with my family. My husband and I also volunteer our time working with the robotics team at our local high school.

working with the wonderful people on our team, as well as the amazing connections I’ve made with other professionals in and around the nonprofit community.

how the firm has grown in terms of the number of nonprofits we serve, ways we have developed our team, and the depth of expertise we’ve gained.

I like to spend my free time…
hosting family and friends with my wife, watching my daughter’s cheer competitions, and coaching my daughter in basketball.

having a supporting role in so many vital and diverse organizations. I’ve also been fortunate to meet and work with so many amazing people who are so passionate in what they do.

my ability to develop good working relationships with my clients so that they know they can count on me to accomplish whatever they need in a timely and accurate manner.

I like to spend my free time…
volunteering at my daughter’s school, reading, writing, creating art projects, cooking, and spending time at the beach!

being able to work with many different nonprofit organizations. I’ve been able to meet and work with great individuals at many different levels that share similar goals in helping others.  

In my role, I take pride in…
building relationships within my coworkers and our clients. I love helping people learn and understand the finance side of their organizations. I’m also proud to be able to help my clients make processes more effective and efficient and seeing the reward from the client’s appreciation is always the best feeling.

I like to spend my free time…
checking out new places and towns, spending time with family and friends, and meeting new people along the way.

working with my clients and feeling like we’re partners. I am constantly in awe of the work they do. I also love how I can depend on my coworkers to do great work with a positive attitude so we can serve our clients and their missions.

supporting the great work that our clients do. It feels great to play a supporting role in our community.

I like to spend my free time…
playing with my kids and visiting my family in Michigan.

At O’Leary & Anick, I enjoy…
working with an amazing staff. Everyone is very supportive of each other and passionate about nonprofits. I also love that I get to play a small role in the success of so many of the nonprofits in our community. We get to hear about and be a part of the impact in the community and people’s lives.

In my role, I take pride in…
the time I helped a nonprofit in Rwanda clean up their financials and train national Rwandese staff to take over the job. It was an experience full of fun and challenges. There was a lot of satisfaction to learn together how to develop a system that made sense in the cultural context.

I like to spend my free time…
enjoying the outdoors with family and friends, whether we’re boating, hiking, reading a book, or walking the dog.

earning my Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professionals license.

networking with different nonprofits and learning their impact on the community no matter their size, as well as providing them with the opportunity to focus on their goals and fulfill their missions. Knowing that I am freeing up some of their time to pursue other responsibilities is very rewarding.

improving donor database management and increasing efficiency in the donor development department.  

I like to spend my free time…
camping, swimming, and playing games. I am also a big fan of baking and helping loved ones plan and host parties.

my promotion to Client Support Specialist from Administrative Assistant within 5 months of employment.

I like to spend my free time…
crafting, cooking, baking, puzzles, playing video games, watching Star Trek and Survivor, and hanging out with my cat, Chaos.

surrounding myself with people that truly care about our community and the nonprofits we serve.

In my role, I take pride in…
my desire to help improve the lives of others. Knowing that the work we’re doing is making a positive difference gives me a sense of pride to be a part of the bigger picture.

I like to spend my free time…
listening to live music and traveling with friends and family. I love watching my kids grow and become independent and successful in the variety of things they are into. I have an incredibly large extended famiy that I love to get together with.

ensuring the nonprofit employees get compensated for the critical work they do, and that payroll is processed accurately and on time. I also appreciate supporting our nonprofit leaders in navigating the complex payroll issues they may encounter.

being able to provide financial service support to help my clients achieve their goals. I like working with colleagues who have similar passions to help the nonprofits in our community.

passing the CNAP course, as well as working with nonprofit organizations for 3.5 years.

teaching ballet, swimming, biking, running, tennis, golf, volleyball, live music, hiking, XC skiing, and I love spending time with my amazing husband and my sweet dogs, Aspen and Meeko!

being in a workplace that feels like extended family. I found that to be true for the last 26 years, and I believe I can find that again with O&A!

spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. Nature photography is a passion of mine.

working with non-profits. They do so much for the community and being a part of that in any way is very special to me.

how far I have gotten in hospitality. 10 years ago, I was an on-call server for special events working for a staffing agency, quickly becoming a server lead, eventually moving up to assistant general manager. Exceeding clients’ visions is the greatest motivator for me and that shines through my work every day. I am extremely excited about my new career path starting at O’Leary & Anick!

I like to spend my free time…
checking out new restaurants to exploring a new city. I love learning all about what Wisconsin has to offer.

mentoring and leading the amazing accounting team. I want to ensure they have everything they need to be successful in their role, as well as provide them with opportunities to grow and develop, to help serve our clients in the best possible way! It’s an honor to be able to support these accountants, and non-profits, and help our community.

In my role, I take pride in…
the improvements I’ve made thus far. I have a passion for taking on things that have a few kinks and turning them into something sustainable and dependable! I enjoy challenging work and helping others solve complexities along the way.

I like to spend my free time…
with my husband (Nick) and my two sons (Finn and Drake). We spend a lot of time playing soccer, baseball, and basketball. When I’m not doing those things, you can find me exercising on my Peloton bike or going for a walk with our golden retriever, Pumpkin.
